Shibu Cheruvelil is the Founder & Executive Director of Agency for Integrated Development Initiatives (AIDI). He has been considerable experience working with Non-Profits in India, Asia -Pacific countries and USA for the past 18 years and managing human rights and other multi developmental programs. He gained extensive exposure in the development sector, encompassing oversight of country operations, liaising with various National and International Government Agencies, Financial Planning and Budget Management, Multi-Partner Management, Risk and Security Management, National and International Youth Volunteers and Key Staff Management at international, national and regional levels. Prior to this, he had taken the lead AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) in India for HIV Testing & Treatment as well as global advocacy in Asia Pacific countries and PACT – The Global Fund (GFATM) largest HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis (TB) programs for the country.
Shibu played a key role in the success of the historic International Congress on Education and Child Labor at New Delhi in September 2005. Also, he was one of the coordinators of an international treatment policy advocacy program held at Washington, D.C. on 2012.
